Plain English, no legal padding. Here's what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

When you fill in a form on this site, call us, or email us, we collect the details you give us — typically your name, phone number, email address, suburb or property address, and whatever you tell us about your pool or your enquiry. If you send a photo of your pool for a quote, we collect that too. We don't ask for anything beyond what we need to give you an accurate quote or deliver a service.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, schedule and deliver pool servicing or related work, send you invoices and photo reports, and follow up afterwards. If you've asked not to be contacted again, we won't be.
Our website forms are processed by Netlify, our website hosting provider, and the information you submit is stored securely in our Netlify account before we action it. We don't use your details for anything beyond responding to and delivering on your enquiry.
This site may use cookies and similar tools — such as Google Analytics and Google Ads — to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our advertising. This helps us see which pages and ads are actually useful to people, and doesn't identify you personally. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work, though some features may be less convenient.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may pass on relevant details to a subcontractor or specialist (for example, if a job requires a licensed inspector we work with) strictly to deliver the service you've booked, and to service providers who help us run the business — like Netlify for our forms and website hosting.
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including relying on the security measures built into the platforms we use (Netlify, our email provider, and our accounting software). No online system is 100% risk-free, but we don't store anything beyond what we need, and we don't keep old enquiry details indefinitely.
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email hello@blueavenuepools.com.au and we'll sort it out directly — no forms, no call centre.
Our site may link out to other sites (like Google Maps or our Google Business Profile). We're not responsible for how those sites handle your information once you've left ours — check their own privacy policy.
Our services are aimed at homeowners and property managers, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page. Significant changes will be dated at the top, as above.
