Pre-Purchase Pool Inspection

About to buy a house with a pool? We check it over before you sign — the shell, the equipment, the surrounds — so you know exactly what you're taking on, not what the listing photos promised.

What's included

What you get with a pre-purchase inspection.

Not to be confused with a QLD safety compliance check — that's about the fencing meeting the law. This is about the pool itself.
Why Blue Avenue

Don't buy someone else's problem.

A pool can look flawless in the listing photos and still be hiding a failing pump, a hairline crack in the shell, or years of deferred maintenance. A building and pest inspection won't catch most of it — ours will. Know what you're buying before you're locked into it.

Questions

Pre-Purchase Pool Inspection — common questions.

Is this the same as a QLD safety compliance check?+
No. A safety compliance check is about the pool barrier and fencing meeting QLD law. A pre-purchase inspection looks at the actual condition of the pool and equipment — the shell, tiles, pump, filter, chlorinator and heater — so you know what you're buying, not just what's legal.
How fast can you do this before my contract deadline?+
Usually within 24–48 hours of your request, so it fits alongside your building and pest inspection timeline.
Can I use the report to negotiate the price?+
Yes — that's exactly what it's for. You get a clear written report with photos and an estimated cost to fix anything we find, so you're negotiating from facts, not guesses.
